Finally Something to Blog About...

Can you pick me out 50 seconds into the highlight. Matt Sealander made the sign and I helped him hold it. The best part was when we had half of the stadium pointing, laughing and cheering at the sign. Wow that escalated quickly.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins

This post is mainly for the interest of my Dad.

You did read the title correct. A new terminator movie has begun filming and is slated for a 2009 release. To add to this great news... it must have been meant to be because the exact release date right now is May 22, 2009. And yes... the plot thickens. There is some more good news other than the fact that it is releasing on my birthday, thats right, Becca has agreed to see it based on the fact that Christian Bale is going to play John Connor. What more can I add to this incredible turn of good fortune? Oh thats right, its going to be a trilogy!

Here is an excerpt from IGN.com on where this movie will take place in the Terminator timeline.

"Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind."

Talk Soup Anyone?

A few months ago Becca and I went to see Joel Mchale, from the popular E Network show The Soup, perform stand up at Wise Guys comedy club up in Ogden. We have watched the show (The Soup) for a while and when Steve and Liv invited us to go to the midnight showing we thought we'd get crazy. Needless to say he was hilarious. Granted I think his show is funny because he makes fun of Oprah and reality TV all the time, but his stand up was ten times funnier. He had the entire crowd rolling the entire time. I caught some of his routine on camera before a lady rebuked me and told me to put it away.

The past month...

If anyone was wondering where I have been this past month, all I have to say is this... GRAND THEFT AUTO IV. I looked around for a cool video that I could show you about this amazing game... and here it is.

NO INTERNET!!!

This is probably one of the funniest clips I've ever seen. To preface the clip, one day everyone wakes up to find that the internet has gone down. Although fictional, if this were to really happen I can imagine a reaction similar to what you are about to see. Pay attention to the music and the way that they paint the scene. So freaking funny.

Jazz

Becca and I went to the Jazz game last night. It was the last home game of the regular season. Unfortunately this was the first game I have attended all season. Too bad considering the Jazz have only lost 4 games at home. Let me repeat that.... they have only lost 4 GAMES at home all season. Imagine being a season ticket holder and watching 37 wins and only 4 losses. I snapped this photo that I think sums it ALL up.

What is wrong with this guy?

I haven't blogged for a long while, I know. The truth is that there hasn't really been anything that could top my last post with the monkey. Until today. I was scanning some of my old pictures into my computer and I came across some pictures that my friend Casey sent to me while on my mission. I think I laughed for about 30 straight minutes at his pictures that he had sent me. The reason why I was in hysterics was due to the fact that I noticed something that I don't think ever hit me fully until now. The thing that came to me as I was laughing at his ridiculous pictures was something that I have asked myself before many times... as I'm sure you all may have too... but this time was unique. The question that kept coming to me as I was looking at these pictures was simply... "What in the !@$% is wrong with this kid(In a good way)?"

I have included these pictures below with the captions that were handwritten on the backs of each picture. I've also added some of my own commentary below each picture as well. Enjoy.

Casey's Caption: "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
My Commentary: Who in their right mind would approach this monument and all of the sudden think, "Maybe it would be COOL if I jumped over this and had someone take a picture while in mid air."

Casey's Caption: "I hope I don't take the ship down.
The space between these wicked lies we tell.
-I'm gonna get ya."
My Commentary: what the freak?

Picture Background: I sent this picture to Casey on the mission initially with the caption... "this just isn't fair"... referring to the shampoo advertisement behind me and the temptations that it consisted of. Casey then sent it back like this:
Casey's Caption: "He's Baaaaaaaack!!!!"
My Commentary: Need I say more?

No caption here... but I just want to point out the fact that whatever it is(to this day no one knows) that is going on here... Casey started it all. (And notice his face of contentment in the middle of that turmoil.)

No caption on the back here... but this was the time when we were hanging out in my basement and Casey found a red pen. Before any of us could realize what was going on Casey was laying on the floor with his shirt off trying to draw a line that extended throughout the length of his body. In this picture you can see the red line if you look close.

No captions here... I just wanted to include them to show you the versatility of some of his poses.

Casey's Caption: "I'm small."
My Commentary: Who comes up with this stuff?

Smyth actually sent me this picture... but what is Casey's pose all about?

Casey's Caption: "I think I have a disease or something."
My Commentary: Who does this??

New Years Eve

On New Years Eve we went to the Jazz game to watch our friend Megan Halversen sing the national anthem. She did good, but I'll let you decide. Enjoy.
